I’m an oil landscape painter based in Washington State, and my work is rooted in my lifelong love for the outdoors. Born and raised in Southern California, I grew up exploring the Sierra backcountry with my dad, which sparked the connection to wild places that still guides everything I create.
Over the years, I’ve lived in Alaska, Montana, and Colorado—each place leaving its own mark on me and offering new landscapes, light, and terrain that continue to inspire my paintings. My outdoor adventures—backpacking, snowboarding, climbing, and summiting mountains—are where I feel most alive, and many of my pieces come directly from those experiences. Every painting is tied to a real place I’ve stood and felt that familiar sense of joy that only being deep in nature brings.
I earned my BFA in Illustration from the Laguna College of Art and Design, where I took extensive fine art courses that provided me with strong classical training. That foundation taught me how to translate the emotional pull of nature into paint, while my time in the wild taught me why I want to.
Through my work, I hope to share that feeling of connection, calm, and awe that comes from being surrounded by the natural world—and to honor the landscapes that have shaped who I am.
